A woman of contrasts in her art, Leota, explorers, opposites of light and dark, line and circle, organic and inorganic, and matte to lustrous to achieve a 3-D feel in her transformative paintings.
Her paintings range from miniature to very large and will represent a premier solo opening for Ms. Harriman.

Saturday, March 2nd 4-7pm, Anne Marie Werner Smith, a sculpture artist is celebrating Women in History, along with other women artists in the gallery.

Mountainair Art Studios and Galleries Tour
Four Mountainair art galleries, including La Galería @ The Shaffer, Cibola Arts Gallery, Gypsy Raven Art Gallery, and Manzano Mountain Art Council and at least 8 private studios are opening their doors to the public on Saturday, May 11 from 10-5PM. You are invited to spend the day in Mountainair savoring local food and getting a rare look at the inside of private studios that are within the town limits. To get you started in the right direction maps of the tour will be available at all four galleries. Artwork will be available for sale at most venues. Featured artists in private studios include, but are not limited to, Samantha Kaye (sculpture), James Waller (acrylic painting), Gypsy Raven (mixed media, dolls), Ruth Ballen (oil painting), Darlene Ryer (basket weaving), Merry Rosenfield (jewelry), CJ Henneman Spence (loom weaving), JoAnne Dale (pottery), Ann McCloud (leather working). Art demos throughout the day.
Jewelry, woodworking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, metal work, weaving, oil, watercolor, acrylic, giclée prints, cards are available at galleries and studios. All restaurants will be open. Food trucks will be serving.

Saturday, June 1st, 4-7pm, La Galeria will present Pictures of Life and Recollection, a premier solo show by our guest artist, p.locascio of Punta de X Workspace.
October 19, 2024
Saturday, October 19th –4-7pm, Ken Davy, landscape artist, who lives in Carrizozo, NM, will be exhibiting his work through the end of 2024.
